Fripp & Eno is a UK ambient music project featuring Brian Eno and guitarist Robert Fripp. They have put out four studio albums, the first being *No Pussyfooting* in 1973. All their work is instrumental, relying heavily on Frippertronics—a tape delay method Fripp created—alongside keyboards, synthesizers, and modified Revox A77 tape recorders.
The first two albums came out close together: *No Pussyfooting* in 1973 and *Evening Star* in 1975. After that, the duo paused studio releases, though Eno and Fripp kept working on each other’s solo records. They returned in 2004 with *The Equatorial Stars*, then issued *Beyond Even* in 2006, which included material recorded between 1992 and 2006. As of 2025, the pair hasn’t officially split up, but there’s been no news about new music. In 2015, *Rolling Stone* ranked them No. 17 on its list of the 20 Greatest Duos of All Time.

A live album, *Olympia, Paris, France May 28, 1975*, came out in 2011.
